Fall Fun 2016

Happy November! This has by far been the fastest fall ever! Maybe because it still feels like summer, and I just can't wrap my mind around falling leaves and blooming tomato plants. We have packed a lot into these warm days!

Rowe enjoying some of her current favorites: babies, snacks, and coloring. That little grin says, "Mom, I colored on the lamp, picture and table this time."

Brennan enjoying one of his favorites. He had a great soccer season, and enjoyed playing defense most of all.

These three amigos are in the same 1st grade class. Their sweet teacher spent a precious Saturday morning watching their last game.

During a four day fall break weekend we enjoyed a few day trips. One day was spent in the Shoals. A second was spent at the pumpkin patch.

We celebrated Halloween BiG this year! Ha! We trunk-or-treated, went to the Crestline Carnival, and to Hartselle Hayday. Those were three nights in a row. Then we carved our pumpkin and prepared for the big friend night. On Halloween, we invited a host of friends for supper and trick-or-treating. We all had a great time!

Princess Sofia and her hero the Red Power Ranger

After filling them with pizza and candy, we set them loose on our neighbors.

And since we wouldn't want to waste a perfectly hot start to November, Brennan and I along with all the first graders from his school enjoyed a day on the farm today. It was the most beautiful trip I have had to Gullion farms. Our school was also the only one their today, which was so nice. I thought I took more pictures, but apparently I put the camera away to fish and never got it back out. I did catch a few cuties in action.
